What Our culture teaches us

Never be afraid of asking Question & never believe anyone just because he/she has a upadhi whether it's saint or a engineer or a doctor, if the person is not able to satisfy your doubts then the person is not a saint neither a engineer and not even a doctor, history don't remember them.

History remembers Ram, history Remembers Krishna, history remembers Buddha, history remembers Arjuna and Ashoka, wake up realize the truth within you, it is not a weakness to have a doubt, but rather it is a disease that you don't have doubt.

Our Culture motivate us to ask question, look at +Bhagwad Geeta   where Krishna repeatedly ask Arjun to ask question as many question as he can, look at buddha who tells you to not to believe in his own quote until you realize it yourself, wake up rule the world, live like a KING.

We respect enlightened Monks but we worship enlightened Warriors who became King or who maintained the law and order in their region under their rule, who treat being as a being and not as Rich or Poor, as a Man or a Woman. We worship a human who with the help of few monkeys defeated the might of Ravana ( A human with Evil intent). We worship a man who became a prince from an ordinary shepherd.

Learn from our culture these are not just fairy tale, these have maintained their existence in the wrath of time, we don't know how they use to look, but we know how they use to think and that is important. A Man becomes great not because of the power of his muscels but because of the intent of his/her thought process.

Plants and Flowers in Your campus

We have been brainwashed to such an extent that in today's era we don't want to use plant which have their own natural smells like Rajniganda ( Polianthes tuberosa) , Chameli ( Jasmine) and others flower plants which can fill our house with natural fresh harmless air with good smell but instead we use air fresheners marketed by corporates, which are nothing but filled with LPG gas, as LPG don't have any of its own smell some further gas is added, planting Jasmine don't cost much all you have to do is add some water and some manure from time to time which don't cost as much as these air fresheners cost.

These same flowers can also be used during your bath so that you will smell pretty good, we do exactly the same thing when we go to a spa, but unfortunately we have become highly literate but uneducated people who have forgotten the basics of our life.

We can also change our perfumed soap with reetha (soap nuts) which is a natural soap and its tree gives lots of fruit, so one tree for a building of 20 families will be good enough in case of emergency you should plant an extra reetha tree in your campus and the same reetha can also be used to wash your cloth. Perfumed soaps are known to cause some high allergic reaction to some individuals. Corporates are playing with our desire our desire to look Good our desire to Smell good, and there is nothing wrong with your desire, but to become blindfolded is something to worry about. Chemicals are everywhere even water is Dihydrogen Oxide, but we can't drink water prepared in laboratory.. We have to understand that we should not cross the "Lakshman Rekha".

How Food affect us : As per Bhagwat Geeta

Satvik Food is Tasty food not garbage

We the human have been made to believe that say about 200 gm of food that we eat during a day doesn't affect us much, hence we should always rely on supplement and our celebrities endorse these products too such as, a 1o mg of Revital can do wonder for you and you should eat anything and everything and after that you can have gelusil or digene, food affects everything we do, right from our thinking process, to our physical health and our agility, our body can give output only if it has right input. Shri Krishna has beautifully explained in geeta about the same.

Rajsic Food

Food that is too sour, too much bitter ( it includes  whisky, neem leaves, and anything i.e. is bitter as they are only good as a medicine, not as a food) , too much salty, too much spicy and overcooked i.e. cooked at a very high temperature and hence looks char, too dry i.e. without any juice( this even include eating a bread/chapati alone without applying ghee or butter to them and without juice such as salt or sugar) are dear to the ones who are under the influence of Rajsic Guna, such food causes sorrow, chaos and disease in ones life. Chapter 17 Verse 9

I have given example here of eating chapati and bread alone, why I gave this eg: is that I want you people to realise that our body is brilliant piece of machine better than any Honda Robot, but still everything has a limit, when we feed a loaf of bread which is not having any butter or ghee applied over it our digestive system will not be able to burn the food hence we will not be feeling energetic as no energy will be liberated.

The salt should also be present in the food as our body absorb the nutrients when it is in the form of combination of salt and sugar, this is the reason that ORS solution are given to patients to make them feel energetic quickly.

Tamsic Food

Food that is half cooked, without any taste, which have a foul smell, stale food and left over of others ( i.e. having saliva of other being) and which have spoiled (due to some reason such as contaminated with cockroaches or any other insect or bacteria) are the food which are prefered by the person who is under tamsic influence. Chapter 17 verse 10 Bhagwad Geeta

Satvik Food

Food that increases a person's age, intellect, strength, immunity, and brings cheerfulness and provide a stable heart which ultimately provides a stable mind should have following characteristics: it should be juicy i.e it should have five taste i.e. Sweet, Salty , bitter, pungent i.e. chili, Sour i.e. something like imli, it should be lubricious i.e. it should have animal fat like ghee or vegetable oil, it should reside in the body for some time (i.e. fibrous ), and it should be acceptable to the body (i.e. it should not cause nausea, dandruff, hair fall bloating, depression, maniac or make you feel shaky etc) & this type of food are preferred by person who are Satvik (i.e. a True Gentleman). Chapter 17 Verse 8

Here Juicy also implies that the grain should develop some of it own natural juice b'coz flour such as wheat, sorghum or any other are basically kept in storage for long time, for them to be kept in storage for such a long time it is required to keep them dry, hence they doesn't spoil quickly by the microorganism present in air, to make them acceptable to our body we should inhibit life in the flour by fermenting the flours with the help of curd, salt and milk hence generating a natural juice in them and sprouting the pulses.

History or Mythology

Shri Ram History or Just Mythology

If I am a dictator what would I do to make the people of the country which I conquer my slave : destroy its history, destroy its education system which teaches about good eating habits which can make them strong, teach them only what I want them to know, make them believe that they are born to be my slave, make them believe that our breed is superior to them, so as to reduce their potential, so that even my fore childrens can rule them.

Because without education, a human is only as bigger threat to the King as bigger threat is a Chimpanzee.

This is what Mughals and Britishers did to India, we don't have any historical record of such a great civilization.

When I was young by age but old from mind I use to think we Indians are born to be slave as all I use to see is our PM and our leaders reading their speeches like school boys, instead of expressing their natural instinct about the nation, our athletes performing poorly in olympics. Our engineers & MBAs who don't have the dare to start their own businesses.

Moreover our past which teaches us that we were slaved by Mughals for 400 years ( huge time) and then by Britishers for 200 years.

And our "Chalta hai" attitude, I use to think it is in our genes, we are born to be slave, as I too when grew older started having "chalta hai" attitude.

I use to wonder why our Army or Airforce or Navy didn't have a revolt or say coup even after loads of Young Men dies due to poor maintenance of our Fighter aircraft, poor quality artillery and submarines, their families are not given petrol pumps which the govt promises if a Jawan dies in battle field, I use to think that we are born to be slave.

But Now when I have read +Bhagwad Geeta   and understood that how wrong eating habits have made us the slave, I am sure that the day is not far away that we be the King of this world, it will take time but it will happen for sure.

Because our ancestor such as Ram, Krishna, Ved Vyasa and others were smart enough to pass on the secrets of our histories in the form of +BedtimeStories   which our grandparents or parents tells to childrens, one or the other of these children will definitely crack the code, if not us than somebody else would definitely. I am damn sure

Indian Education System

Yes Education is the Key

Here I will not talk about the present education system which was a very precious gift by the britishers to India as the Indians generally believes but I will talk about the education system which the Indian believed is of no use in day to day practical life.

Thomas Babington Macaulay is said to be the introducer of modern Indian education system, his miutes in British parliament were as:

"I have conversed both here and at home with men distinguished by their proficiency in the Eastern tongues. .... I have never found one among them who could deny that a single shelf of a good European library was worth the whole native literature of India and Arabia".

He further added

"We must at present do our best to form a class who may be interpreters between us and the millions whom we govern; a class of persons, Indian in blood and colour, but English in taste, in opinions, in morals, and in intellect". This is what Macualay was successfully able to do, brainwashed us.

Do you know it took Macaulay how much time to reach to this conclusion only 4 years, the 4 years he spend his time in India this super genius who was not aware about Indian history and langauge concluded that Indian scripture were good for nothing, So I being familiar to both English and Indian culture for more than 32 years of my life can declare it safely that he was hell wrong.

Lets talk about Chemical Engineering and Medical Science, Ayurveda the ancient medical science of India has developed many medicines, they i.e. the ancient Indians have used almost everything that is available in nature to form medicine, they have used Mercury to Arsenic in the medicines, they have mentioned the use of pure mercury, pure Arsenic, pure Chalcopyrite and almost all the metal know to modern world, these are not present in the nature in pure form, they are present only as a ore for eg : Mercury is available in nature as HgS i.e. mercury sulfide, so they knew the method of distillation to extract mercury from HgS, the mercury was than further treated with herbs to do the shudhikaran of mercury so that it is absorbed by the human body easily, but unfortunately we have only half the literature available to us now, where are the remaining literature nobody knows. The britishers created medicine and got patent earning them good money and we all know that it bloomed right after their victory in India. They have ruled us for 200 years, India got Independence just 67 years back, so just imagine how much time they had to manipulate our history. Today majority of Indian thinks we are developed because of britishers.

The knowledge of ores shows that the ancient Indians were also aware about the mines of various metals and they were also aware about how to extract ore from those mine, and who can forget the Architecture of Taj mahal and the rest, is it possible to create such a monument which has handled the wrath of time without any scientific Knowledge. Aurangzeb was the richest person in his era, the largest diamond mine at that time was under his captivity and with such a dominance that the britishers, french and the portugese were scared of him, today we highlight Aurangzeb in a negative shed but the truth is that this guy Aurangzeb when captured Shivaji treated Shivaji as a King and kept him in a palace though as a prisoner.

Forget about minerals and metals people looking at discovery channels think that if white people were not there we would never have experienced the wild life or say we would never have seen such devlopment, well those negligent people don't know that western world is still not fully aware about the medicinal properties of many of the herbal plants, they will still search for medicinal properties of turmeric and other herbs in the laboratory, they don't know how to use garam masala, dhaniya powder, onion, ginger and garlic to increase the taste of the food and their medicinal importance in daily food. So they don't know the science of cooking and we don't know that we knew the science of cooking at some point of time.

Now lets talk about astrophysics, Indian scientist, I am referring to people whom we don't know (ancient) have predicted centuries ago that their are 9 planets, to this our modern scientist claim oh it is so easy it can be seen by our naked eyes, well I have never observe a single planet in my life with naked eyes, not only this our ancient scientist have been predicted that when we will have full moon, and all the other possible positions of the planet the entire process requires some serious mathematical calculation and they have made it so easy, that a astrologer don't have to calculate the position but instead just refers to some tables and they the modern day genius tells that zero was invented in India, you morons if zero invented in India that means the entire number system was developed way before you arrived in India, b'coz without zero you can't have number 10, you can't have addition, subtraction, multiplication, division.

Might be britishers were able to destroy science & some other important education of India succesfully but unfortunately britishers didn't realized that the scriptures which they termed as mythology and thought that they are good for nothing were actually hidden matrix within literature, they can destroy our literature of science but they can't kill these literature which was and is  present in each and every household of India, inside the mind of each and every Indians and person who have ever been to India, these anecdotal stories which the britishers thought are good for nothing still attracts large number of tourist from western and other part of world to India.

Our ancestors worshiped everything that the mother nature has given us the whole objective of it was to respect the power of water, air, Sun, Moon and other things without which any life in this world is not possible and today some stupid scientist claims to cover the moon with more reflective substance so that the problem of light in the night will be solved infact in +Bhagwad Geeta Shri Krishna beautifully explain to Arjun that the rays of Moon are very important to generate the medicinal properties in plant and it was written thousands of year earlier.

Rajiv Dixit on Indian Education System and Macaulay, he points some very key point

Bull's Sperm is For Cows only & not for Human

My lord with his favorite pet

As a Kid lot of the time I use to get assignment to write an essay on Cow in the exam so I use to mug up as much I was able to and write it in the exam. I never really felt the importance of cow in our life because all I use to find them doing is occupy the road and make the road dirty with their dung, and as with all the people I use to think concrete is beautiful. I use to look upon them as a curse to a clean and hygenic environemnt of my small town, but I was wrong.

All a cow need is grass to feed upon which doesn't need any special kind of treatment such as our crops do and what it give in return immunity against small pox, this is known to mankind but there might be other various significant immunity which cows being a stronger animal provides to human, it provide us with milk, which is actually for the calf only we should not feed that milk unprocessed in to any other animal as it is produced inside a cow, as bulls sperm is for cow and not for human as it is produced inside a bull, but this same milk can be processed to form curd, butter ghee, buttermilk, fermenting  dough in short its a complete Pharmaceutical Industry, you can also process it with boiled rice, dry fig in little large qty and not just one fig as the chemicals in them make the cow's milk suitable for human consumption, otherwise the same milk can cause schizophrenia, Bipolar disorder, severe depression & Anxiety, Asthma, Spondylitis and multiple sclerosis etc which has been suppressed by the scientific community who want to earn huge profit by selling medicine for them, the waste it generate can be used as fuel and what is the input cost practically nothing only green grass.

The Ox or even bull can be even used in farming for plowing the ground reducing the load on human being. This is the reason that why a Cow is also referred to as Kamdhenu i.e. the one who fulfills all your desire, so the practice in India was to have a pet Cow, but unfortunately our insane love for west has brought a significant change in this practice and now we prefer to have dog in our house which practically does nothing but yes sometimes it may bite you, but Cow will never and the bull can even protect you better compare to Dog, But here again Dogs are also very good being moreover now a days it is hard to see ground or say even mud in city like Mumbai where the soil of the trees is also covered with concrete, why we people are so much scared from soil after all it is soil which gives us crops and fruits and even the flesh of animal who fed on these grass, this is not science this is height of insanity.

You are your own best friend

I have heard many people saying that he/she is my best friend and this is really a very interesting thing because this indicates that the person has really a very short memory because he/she must have said the same statement a plenty of times in his/her life but with different individual, but he still believes in other individual and its indeed a great art. Some say their Mother is their best friend they celebrate Mothers day, Fathers day bla bla and more bla, but most of the people who celebrated the mother or some other day with lot of enthusiasm will be the ones who will not be there to say farewell to their parents, some will say "my children's have exam so I have to be with my children" some will say "I can't get leave from my office, though I can come to perform a visit (Formal)" and somebody who are not good in making excuses will say "oh I can't see my parent in such a terrible pain so I can't stay for long" and this is a black truth.

There is a beautiful quote in Bhagwat Geeta as written below

बन्धुर आत्मात्मनस् तस्य येनात्मैवात्मना जितः
अनात्मनस्तु शत्रुत्वे वर्तेतात्मैव शत्रुवत                 Chapter 6 Verse 6

The above statement means that "A person who has conquered his mind is himself his best friend and the person who has not is himself his worst enemy". It is indeed very truth. These statements are said to be made about 5000 years ago or may be even before that but they are still as blissful as they were ever and they always remain so blissful.

If you look at the the life of Shri Krishna his own uncle ( his mother's brother) tries to kill him, he was not able to marry his first love Radha but still he didn't hold any grudges in himself and he just continued to grow with a ever lasting smile on his face and not like angry young men of Hollywood or Bollywood

Four Kind Of Devotee

Shri Krishna as a Child: A representational image

चतुर्विधा भजन्ते मां जनाः सुकृतिनो अर्जुन
आर्तो जिज्ञासुर अर्थार्थी ज्ञानी च भारतषर्भ  Chapter 7 verse 16

In the above verse Shri Krishna tells Arjun that there are four kind of devotee who worships me. A person who all the time ask for some or the other thing such as wealth, or fulfillment of other desire, the one who worships me only at a time of distress such as tremendous monetary loss or deteriorating health, the one who want to know me through books and observation of the nature and the one knows me as I am i.e. the one who remembers me all the time in the form of my teachings as he knows i.e. understands me very well.

Shri Krishna further adds that out of all the four the one who knows me is my favourite, as he is just my form, there is no difference between him and me, than he further clarifies that I am Arjun among the Pandavas, I am Ved Vyas among all the knowledgeable and I am the Ram among Aryans this means that all the people he mentioned are equivalent to him in terms of Knowledge.

Further Shri Krishna tells Arjun that

न  कर्तृत्वं न  कर्माणि लोकस्य सृजति प्रभुः
न कर्मफल संयोगं स्वभावस्तु प्रवर्तते   Chapter 5 Verse 14

Here Shri Krishna beautifully describes to Arjun regarding what is the role of all mighty in an individual's life, he says that neither I do anything neither I make the being to do anything and I don't even create an opportunity so that some thing happens but rather things happen due to personal habits as well guna ( properties) of the being. For eg : All Top order Batsman are usually better than the bowler due to habit of continuously practicing batting but some batsman eg Sachin or Sehwag or take any batsman of your choice are better than the other due to properties such as hand eye coordination and muscles power, timing or placing the ball and etc, but people think that Sachin Tendulkar is lucky, and I know some of you will argue that he is lucky to have these guna, but I will say it is just a chance and not luck.

In the very next verse he says

नादत्ते कस्यचित् पापं न चैव सुकृतं विभुः
अज्ञानेनावृतं ज्ञानं तेन मुह्यन्ति जन्तवः Chapter 5 verse 15

The above shloka is said, to understand that the almighty is not bothered about the sins that you have committed take for eg: all the US president so far( they have done loads of crime) or all the leaders of political parties of India who have accumulated lots of money of poor, they live their life, grow old and die, neither he is pleased about the good work you have done,  recall anyone in your life, at least some of the people who died in Kedarnath temple cloud burst must have been very nice individual or the innocent kid who have give lots of happiness to his/her parents is killed by cancer, but due to ignorance, people are deluded in to this myth.

The above shloka can also be understood with the help of eg of Samrat Ashok or Angulimal who have killed lots of innocent people, but when both of them wanted to improve they were welcomed under a spiritual umbrella, a umbrella for self awareness.

Advantages of doing Sane Yog Asan

A Beautiful Gymnast

In today's commercialized world every thing has been commercialized right from food, to house and everything that is related to our day to day survival, there is absolutely nothing wrong in commercialization, commercialization has made our life easier and meaningful, but commercialization to the point of insanity is something to really worry about.

Commercialization has affected our exercise regime too, today we have gym everywhere charging heavily and we have yoga classes everywhere, they will frighten you by saying yoga should not be done in absence of a Guru (corporate guru) all of them are scared of the books and DVDs available in the market, more importantly and rather say unfortunately yoga classes have become more of classes for gymnastic rather than Yogasan.

Difference between Yogasan and  Gym or Gymnast is that Yogasan can be done by 3 year old child to a 100 year old man, but it will be totally wrong to say that this is the only difference. Yogasan means balance in the approach of various posture of the body, the aim of the person doing Yogasan should not be to have muscles and it should not be ability to bend like rubber rather it is about using your own body weight to stretch your body, which will in turn stretch your veins, your muscles, your bones, you will breath a little faster hence your lungs will be exercised, to compensate for your breath your heart will beat faster so your blood will rush through your veins hence your kidneys will have to work a little extra and the list just goes on, various internal organs will be exercised but all this will not be coming as a shock to the body as we have just made a little effort, and not the effort of sort of body builder or gymnast. Gymnast and Bodybuilding are good only at young ages. So Yogasan is not only about breathing heavily in order to get oxygen, if your ownly concern is stretching as much as you can then you should immediately realise that you are doing Gymnastic and not Yogasan.

We the being are outcome of various input which ranges from air we breathe which consist of Nitrogen, Oxygen, CO2 and various other gases to water we drink, to the food that we eat.

Unfortunately we are being made to believe that only Modern Medicine are cure to all our problem, Ayurveda is cure to all our problem or Yogasan is the cure of all our problem. Which is not the case, the problem is that our ruler are presently devils, the day we will have King like Ram we will realise how rich our culture was and is.

Om

Being a Ascetic (Sanyasi) Is a bad Idea

Geeta is the philosophy that is purest form of introspection, their is nothing that can even come close to it, among all the literature I read during time of my depression, I could only understand Geeta.

There is an interesting point in Geeta when Arjun ask Shri Krishna that it would be better to leave everything and take sanyas & beg for food, as Arjun thinks that to fight a war against his own Kin ( i.e. Killing his Kin) will only give him sin, also, land, wealth etc are all materialistic thing, they don't last forever.

Shri Krishna then guides him, he asks him that even if you take sanyas would you really be not doing anything? won't you be searching for food? Is getting food so easy? don't other living beings fight for their food? He tells Arjun that "you are not having control over your mind, you shouldn't act like a coward, all your brothers & soldiers are ready to die in this war as they have been snatched away from their rights and at this time you are offering to quit, also if you are not happy when you are having everything then how could you be happy when you would not be having anything".

He tells Arjun that if you quit in between this war then people will laugh at you, people will make anecdotal jokes on you, which will be circulated all across the places, if you think about yourself to be knowledgeable and sensible, then keep it in your senses that for a self respecting man there's nothing worse then being called a coward.

He further guides him that if you are not happy with what you have been doing since a long time, and in fact you are not able to do something in which you are supposed to be second to none then how could you be happy in something which you have never done before? also, is living without your loved one is so easy?

Shri Krishna tells him that a true Sanyas is to not to worry too much about the consequences of an action, this doesn't means that you should stop thinking, but you should not be possessive about anything, you can perform to best of your abilities, but what will be the outcome of your action is not in your hand.

Shri Krishna tells Arjun to look at Shri Krishna himself and learn that how he i.e. Shri Krishna himself is living his life, Shri Krishna was an ordinary shepherd, he didn't get his lady love Radha, but he didn't loose his heart or mind, his own uncle tried to kill him but he withstood them and in fact killed his uncle, he became a King himself, he ask Shri Arjun to learn from his life and make him his idol so that it is easy to guide his life by looking at the life of Shri krishna.

Plz Don't cook oil at High Temperatures

Hot Oil

Along with issue of depression I also had some issues with my skin, my skin problem dates back to when I was 13 or 14, lots of dandruff use to generate on my scalp also I had a problem of dry lips since the time I was 8 to 9 years old or may be even before that, I don't even remember  since when I have started issues of dry lips.

It was only after I realised with the help of Bhagwat Geeta that we are eating wrong food and when I started experimenting with foods that I found out that if I am not adding any oil to my food then my dandruff issues are being arrested within 2 to 3 days, but stopping oil was a bad bad idea, it gave me issues with my bowel movement. If I use to add unheated oil then it has odour in it if it's a regular filtered oil, and if I use to add oil along with the  water and cook the lentils under pressure then the oil use to escape from the pressure cooker due to high pressure gradient and temperature which again use to cause issues with my bowel movement.

Later I realised that if I add oil over the lentils after it being cooked and boil it for 4 to 5 minutes then this way the oil use to get rid of its smell and at the same time the quantity of oil don't escape from the lentils as there is no pressure gradient as boiling takes place at atmospheric condition, boiling water temperature can't go beyond 100 deg C at atmospheric pressure so the quality of oil don't degrade and hence giving me the complete nutrition. This helped me to get rid of dry skin.

This was great but this led to sort of monotonous cooking as I was not able to eat any fried food, frying in modern day cookware means cooking at a very high temperature, as the temperature of propane butane gas mixture is around 1800 deg C, though a large quantity of heat is lost by conduction, convection and radiation but still the temp is high enough, also the anodised aluminium vessel used are very thin and have very high heat transfer coefficient.

So I did following changes first I bought a new seat stand which is used to keep vessel above the gas stove then increased the height of the same by almost 2 inches by welding support on it, but even after doing so oil was able to generate dandruff all over my skull, so next step I took was to put a square MS plate of almost 4 mm thickness over the stand and then placed my cooking vessel over it, it may sound like crazy stuff but it did worked finally.

We need oil in our system but not the one which is heated at such a high temperature it only leads to degradation of oil, in my case it was the issue of dandruff but in someone other case it may lead to other serious complication. In Bhagwat Geeta it has been mentioned that cooked food is good for health but overcooked food or say burned food are not ideal for health, but unfortunately we don't learn from history.

The lord Of Myth: Brahma

The Lord Of myth Shri Brahma
In my childhood I always use to wonder that why  Brahma the god give all his blessing to the devils and I use to wonder why the hell does this devil worship only Brahma or Shiva why can't they worship Vishnu and be immortal, I don't know why this kind of thought use to strike me, but I use to ask these question to my elders but their answer never satisfied me.

With time however I realised that Brahma is nothing but the Lord of the myth, the very reason b'coz of which a sex is attracted toward opposite sex, the myth due to which people take care of their child, a myth due to which we are less attracted towards a old than compare to a new born, myth is the governing principal of the world without the existence of myth this world will not progress, myth is required, but myth should not be worshiped i.e. the reason there is no Temple for Brahma in India except for a temple in Pushkar.

How to Brush your Teeth w/o using a Tooth Paste

A slow Poison

The topic may sound weird to most of you, but I am really very serious about it. The toothpaste that we are using today has a fluoride content of about 500 ppm to 1000 ppm, remember as per scientist (I call them stupids) 15 ppm of iodine is enough for sharpening your brain, but 1000 ppm of Fluoride is acceptable to human body, it don't cause any harm but instead it protects our teeth (600 ppm of Hexane in Soyabean also don't cause any harm, as per scientist (idiots)) most of the kids swallow the toothpaste as they like its taste. You can read about the content of fluoride in modern day toothpaste  here, the other toxic chemicals which are present in a normal toothpaste can be read on here.

Now I am going to tell you about a safe, easy to execute and cheap and best method of brushing your teeth. I am personally using this method since last 4 months, I add almost say a pinch of sea salt granules and not iodised salt and then I add few drops of mustard oil ( check the pic. below), I mix the mixture and gently rub it over my teeth with my  finger, of course :). As the sea salt surface is rough it cleans any deposition over the teeth, but as it is softer compare to teeth it don't cause any damage to them, also due to the saliva it start to dissolve hence become much softer, and as mustard oil is applied over it, it doesn't have too much friction and both of them have antibacterial properties as well. The component are 100 % edible they cause no harm to you or your loved once even if you or they swallow it, if you don't want to swallow it you can wash them out too.

As you will be rubbing with the help of your finger it will not damage your gums as well, as they do while we use tooth brush.

Use of technology is not a bad thing, in fact the reason that we have less war now a days is because we have weapons of mass destruction, because of which leaders of our Great Nations are themselves afraid to die, but a hammer doesn't work at a place of toothpick, this simple fundamental we have lost somewhere.

This salt comes at price of 10 Rs per Kg and is easily available in market in India as Hotelier use this salt only in manufacturing food, cost of mustard oil is 120 Rs/liter, for a family of four you might be having a cost of Rs 130 per year or might be even less as I have not measured the exact quantity.

This method of brushing your teeth was a normal day to day practise in Indian household say about 100 years back, though some people use to prefer Neem Tree twig as well.

Mustard oil with Sea Salt

What Is Yoga

Just RELAX the Man in the above picture is not doing Yoga, he is doing some exercise and as he himself is a confused being, so he thinks it is Yoga. If Yoga is what he is doing then every gymnast in this world is a yogi. Most of the people who has clicked on this link must be good people because they want to bring change in their lives as they want to improve.

What happens in our lives is that from childhood we are taught the wrong things, but being told that this is the right thing, we are given eg. of Rich and the Famous and we are being taught to be either very Rich or be very Famous by giving eg. of somebodies life whom we have never met or met very few time.

Shri Krishna tells Shri Arjun to practice YOG at the battle field, so did Shri Krishna wanted Arjun to head stand in the battle fied, hell no, yog is not stretching exercises which Baba Ramdev teaches or Yog is not anything tough, but rather as beautifully said by Shri Krishn "Samatv YOG Uchayate" i.e. a balance approach is called YOG, Shri Krishna tells Shri Arjun that it is very easy to practice; balance approach in everything, right from eating right i.e. eating food which helps you feel energetic as well as feel happy in mind, which may include gluten free, casein free diet, diet with sea salt and not iodised salt, sugar in the form of jaggery rather than white sugar, meat if you are non vegetarian then you could use ghee in your diet and sprouted grains, to thinking right, balance may even include the medicine if you require it to feel healthy or feel pleasant in mind, but having medicine doesn't mean you can eat anything and everything, the whole aim is to feel pleasant physically as well as mentally

Thinking right comprises of the fact that you should not have in your mind extreme attachment, hatred, desire or anger for anyone, Shri Krishna further tells to Shri Arjun that thinking about something constantly causes affection for those things, due to this affection we generate desire for those things, and when we have hurdles in the path of obtaining those desire we get anger, and anger make us loose our sanity which led to our own decline.

This doesn't mean that you should not have desire as Shri Krishn tell Shri Arjun to have a balance approach, but problem is that our mind is never empty its all the time thinks, it is good thing that your mind is thinking but anything extreme is not good, so atleast for sometime you should take a break, so how to slow down our mind for few mints in a day, this can be done by practicing Pranayam.

Now again Pranayam is not what Baba Ramdev teaches, they are just the steps to master the art of Pranayam. What is Pran, pran is the breath that you inhale, our body is so beautifully built that we don't even think about the most important aspect of our life i.e. breathing we never think about breathing it happens by itself, when your concentration will become subtle i.e. when you will be in a state of complete relaxation you can observe the breath you are inhaling, you can practice the art of Pranayam, but  Pranayam has significance only when you practice Yog, without Yog pranayam is useless, and again Yog is just the balance approach in life.

Bhagwat Geeta teaches lot of good things if you got time do read it, don't try to mug it, just get the feeling of it. :) Om

Its Cool to be enlightened

Let me ask you one thing, what do you expect a enlightened human being to be, for instance do you like him to be like Sai baba he was born in 1900 century in India, so not way back only 100 or say 150 year old.

We expect them to move in a slow motion, having a light glowing over their head as if they are carrying a bulb along with them, be miraculous, don't have erection on seeing a sexy woman or vice verse i.e. they should completely ridicule the laws of nature, they should put fire on water, carry a mountain on his little finger, this is what we expect and many such things and this is the reason why we get these things from so called human incarnation of GOD, but why we expect something like this, is it not a miracle that you breathe, is it not a miracle that child grows or say birth of a child but we are ignorant we want more so we expect them to produce motichur ka ladoo or say an apple from air, is that our expectation of God, this can be done by a Magician too, this was the very reason why person like Shri Satya Sai baba made fool of our self.

This is the reason why Shrimad Bhagwat was crafted in such a beautiful manner by Shri Ved Vyas, because he knew it is not possible to make everyone understand the meaning of enlightened human, there is interesting anecdote in Mahabharata where Yasohda finds Shri Krishna eating soil she scold him and ask him to open his mouth, when he open his mouth she see the entire universe in his mouth, now you will say "that what god should be like", my dear friend this story was very cleverly planted by Shri Ved Vyasa, the universe which Yashodha sees in the mouth of Shri Krishna was nothing but actually the knowledge of the universe which comes from his mouth. Yashodha gets scared as any normal mother would be as she use to consider him her son and not a enlightened person, she thought might be her son is under the influence of some spirit, this what happens even today also.

We expect a enlightened person to be with grown up beard and hair like Jesus and wearing saffron colour or white colour Dhoti, was Shri Krishna or Shri Ram were really like that, you will now say yes, that though Shri Ram and Krishna not have grown up beard but they do use to have grown up hair and use to wear Dhoti, my dear friend that Dhoti and hair cut was style of that era, for instance what is happening in movies now Amitabh, Akshay and Sanjay Dutt act as a God in film and they are suited booted, and it is just 100 years of Indian cinema may be 5000 years down the line we will see that pictures of Akshay Kumar as Shri Krishna in the houses i.e. God wearing tie & suit.

Shri Krishna says that " My devotee will never be shattered or destroyed" so what we have translated this statement in to, that if you are a true devotee of Krishna than you can drink even poison and you will not die, take for eg: story of meera bai, my dear friend Shri Krishna continuously emphasizes on Science and Wisdom he repeated says during his conversation with Shri Arjun that "I will again repeat the Knowledge for you which comprises of Wisdom and Science", everything in this universe in governed by the principal of science, science is specific and wisdom is generalized, might be we are unaware of the science of something today but we will be aware of it in the coming years or say days, so something which is not defined today comes under the category of Wisdom. By virtue of this same wisdom a devotee of Krishn will not drink or eat poison by himself b'coz he will be quick witted and clever and this has been said by Shri Krishna himself in Bhagwat geeta.

Coming back to the point of Sai Baba people say that he was not an enlightened human but rather GOD with miraculous power, I use to ask myself that if he was having so much of miraculous power then why didn't he just puffed and scared away the Britishers. Do you have a answer. :) OM

Sex and The Desire

Bhagwat Geeta doesn't talk about sex, I know you will be disappointed but plz read on, it talks about desire, this is the beauty of Bhagwat Geeta it says many things in a few words, it talks about Kaam i.e. the desire, Shri krishna tells Arjun that beings are never satisfied b'coz of the never ending desires, for eg: even if your partner is the sexiest being and have lot of money, fame and even highly spiritual or say philosphical but you would still have the desire for someone else ( eg Hrithik and Suzane), he tells Shri Arjun that as Smokes cover up the fire and dust cover up a mirror similarly desires cover up the knowledge of a being ( that means they new how to prepare glass as he talks about mirror, don't look at the picture above concentrate on the writing plz).

But this doesn't mean that a being should not have a desire at all, b'coz desire are necessary for our survival but we should not start worshiping our desire. For eg: One sex will always have attraction toward a opposite sex, it is natural but it has no end you can go on changing your partner everyday but after sometime nobody will trust you, your children will not respect you and you will not even be respected in the society, similarly money is required, it is necessary for our survival but we are never satisfied with it, the salary we are getting or the enumeration we are getting is never enough, similar things happen with fame, cars or beauty the desire never ends, we want to look beautiful, its good that you want to look beautiful, but plastic surgery, ok once a while but repeated surgeries, I don't think it can protect you from looking old.

This is the reason Shri Krishna ask Shri Arjun to practice Yog i.e. the art of balance approach, in everything right from thought process to eating and clothing, we have to dress as per the occasion, if you observe how Shri Krishna use to dress, you would see that he use to dress just like the Kings of that era as he himself became a King, he use to put a Peacock feather on his Crown, his entire life is a source of inspiration, he used to love Radha but was not able to marry her for some reason, but he stood by himself, his own uncle tries to Kill him, but he survived  he lived a King Life, he is my Hero.

Spirituality & Psychology

Shivji
Shiva , I feel he is enlightened Human

Indian Ancient Scripture has always fascinated me, it use to raise lot of question within me & the answer of which by my various elder family member never satisfied me.

India was the richest country in the world just 250 years back & for Some reason I think India is the country that has the richest source of everything, even after 2000 AD people come to India to seek spiritual enlightenment, Please don’t think I am rude but I question myself that why after 2000 years west can’t come even close to spiritual knowledge of India , also spirituality is something which is very subtle and very hard to understand & even harder to define & even more harder to make other people practice,  sustain for such a long period of time & protect the same in its original form. We assumed Indian history to be 5000 years old but recent extravagation at Indus valley has found human remains of around 10000 years & older might not exist now.

The entire concept of ancient Indian philosophy which we have tagged as “Hinduism” revolves around three Main God, “Shiva”, “Brahma” & “Vishnu”. In my childhood I always use to question their functioning as I never use to understand that why always devils pray the Brahma, but  both the devils as well as  the deities pray Shiva, & Vishnu is only prayed by deities.

With time I have got some insight in to it and I am sharing the same with you, some people may understand, some may not & for some it may help in creating a new insight which will be much better than that of mine.

"Shiva" is an character in the Hindu Scripture,  whose behavioral characteristic have been mentioned  as that of a very innocent & humble being who is very short tempered, he lives in isolation, away from all the beings, he is in the stage of human where the man is struggling hard to achieve the peace & enlightenment , he is on the search of truth, he lives on Himalayas as some of the saints do, his mind is compared to moon, as its denoted by the symbol of “half moon” over his head, possibly it denotes his intentions i.e. he is very gentle and he don’t have malevolent intention for anybody, his mind is as gentle  as moon .

As he lives in wild, he has a weapon called "Trishul" a sort of a spear with three points, it is specifically designed so as to slow down the momentum of animal attack such as leopard or a Tiger ( as single spear will not be able to stop the momentum of big animals like Tiger), he has small dumru (a small two headed drum, google to see the image) attached to the spear as the sound generated with the help of dumru can deceive the animal in some way, he has a bull accompanying him showing that the bull and not the dog is man's best friend as the bull can come handy during animal attack due to its shear power & horn as well as its intelligence and non malevolent intent and  its herbivorous nature, also it can attract cows which further will give milk to you.

His vocals has been represented as blue,  the blue denotes the poison in his vocals, it's the poison that is generated through the attrition between the two forces (The Good & The Bad as in scripture of “Samundra Manthan”) of thoughts as we often become abusive b’coz of tussel or say confusion in our mind, the diversity & the magnitude of our brain is compared to that of a Ocean i.e. Samundra in Sanskrit, lot of things are liberated in these tussels of thoughts in our brain, resulting in  something  good i.e. say useful or may be something bad, as mentioned in the anecdotes in ancient Indian scriptures.

He is in the initial stages of enlightenment, he has different perspective of the world i.e. called the third vision, a vision through his intellect and not mere through the  senses of his eyes, this third perspective of the world help him in burning all his desires denoted as Kamdev in ancient Indian text.

In the scriptures river Ganges is shown to be flowing through his head,  this Ganges can't be anything other than the flow of pure divine knowledge from his mind, consisting of Science & philosophy as stressed upon in "Bhagwat Geeta", as knowledge is always present in the universe, but Shiva is able to gather it, Shiva act as a carrier & transfer this knowledge to the masses in a form which could be understood by them, this knowledge is as pure as Ganges as we say in Hindi "Gyan Ki Ganga".

A snake is shown to be attached around his neck, if you consider the behaviour of an snake how it is, it doesn’t bite you unless and until you disturb it, but if disturbed it can even bite its caretaker, may be it is something similar to the state of a person who is in the stage of Shiva, he will not quote the poison of his words on you until & unless you disturb him, if you disturb him he gets angry very quickly & hence may say something which may hurt the other being.

Shiva as per my Understanding is a representation of a human being who is in a quest to come in peace. As per Hindu scripture both the devils as well as the Deities worship Shiva, this can be better understood as, that any person at a appropriate time of its life cycle can reach this stage, but if a person doesn't follow the philosophies of scripture than he will become a Bhasmasur a devil who become reason for his own destruction, as anger is not good for anybody , while the person if follow the teachings of scripture can proceed further to reach the stage of “Vishnu” another Character in Hindu Scripture which I have discussed in another post. Shiva is said to be the creator of Vishnu & Brahma this probably is b’coz of the fact that Shiva is the stage of human where he realises b’coz of his third eye the Presence of Vishnu as well as the presence of “Brahma” another character in Hindu scripture which I will discuss later.

Biggest Fool

If I have to ask you a very very simple trick to identify a fool among a bunch of people how will you do it, specially in a country like India, well it is very simple, I will give you an example.

I was listening to all India Radio where two renowned economist were answering to the question of a common man regarding economy, generally people in India have television, radio has a limited audience, the two renowned gentleman got a call from a person who said he belongs to so and so village, he asked his question in Hindi infact all the person who called them during the show asked question in hindi, to my surprise those renowned intelligent or say super duper intelligent person started answering the call as well started conversation in English, they didn't even spoke a single word in Hindi. So how such super intelligent person reach such a high level in the office, the answer again is very simple, flaw in our education system as well as selection mechanism, which promotes the muggers rather than the curious or say passionate person.

Similar thing happen with me when I went to met an Doctor in a renowned hospital, he was talking in Hindi with junior level employees of his hospital but the moment I sat in front of him he started conversation in English and the moment he started conversation in English I realised that I have come to an fool and after observing his medical practice he proved me right. :)

Similarly I heard Aishwarya Rai Bachchan telling to a reporter " Oh I feel so uncomfortable speaking in Hindi", she is earning her bread and butter and even Rolls Royce through Hindi speaking films how it could be that she don't know Hindi. She herself does the voiceover of her films, if you can't give respect to your mother tongue how can you give respect to others, it is alright that we write in English b'coz of the flaw in our education system which instead of making Hindi as a medium and English as a subject has done a vice verse and b'coz of this I have not written a single page in Hindi after 1998, but we all know speaking Hindi if we are coming from a Hindi speaking state as we meet lot of person who don't know or don't speak in English.

Why this flaw is coming within us is that we want to improve, but we don't know what improvement is, we are confused individual, constantly looking at the outer world to attain equilibrium within us, equilibrium is nothing but the peace of mind, that equilibrium we think we can get by buying 45000 Rs Tab or buying 2 Million Rs Car or by being fluent in English, even person belonging to lower middle class income group families ae buying expensive smart phones to compete with their peers, English is just a language just like Hindi is, but we think that if we Know English we are intelligent or if someone speaks better English he/she is more intelligent.

English is definitely important in modern world but it should remain just as language for communicating with people who don't know your mother tongue, I went to Germany and people over there don't use English as much, very few people are able to converse properly in English, I became friend with a person who was able to converse in English, but he told me that his English is not too good, I told him that you are able to make me understand what you want to say and that is enough, English is a language, it is use for conversation and we are able to do it. :)

The Concept Of fasting

You can eat Yummy cheese during fasting

What is fasting as said in English and pronounced as Upwas in hindi, most people will treat it as a way to keep yourself distance from food, they think that by punishing your body you are pleasing GOD, some people will not eat for 9 days, some ps**cho person will not eat for months, But God in Bhagvat Geeta tells that it neither take the sin or the goodness of the people, so what exactly is fasting during a week.

It is indeed a way of providing your body with the different nutrients which you are not getting in daily diet, so what was the practice, the practice actually comprises of eating food that you don't eat in normal days, like eating Singhare Ka atta (Water chest nut), kuttu Ka atta (Buckwheat), Rajgiri ka atta(Amaranth), Sendha namak(Rock Salt), vegetables, Paneer (Cheese), Dahi i.e. curd, fruits as well as if you could change the oil also, so as to fed the body with the nutrients which you are deprived of as well as the fibre of Singhare Ka atta and others are very soft as they are fibre of fruit, hence easily absorbed by the body and the same process is continued for continuous 9 days after a interval of each six months in the navratris, if you will practice it and you are already healthy than chances are that you will not have to take any artificial food suppliment.

What are the three basic needs of a good food are, first is that it should be juicy i.e. it should have taste of Sweet, Sour, Salt, Spicy, bitter out of these 5 taste one i.e. salty prevails in our diet, second aspect is that food should have fibre as we add bread or Chapatis, third aspect is it should have animal fat i.e.( Clarified butter) over the chapatis or bread made of any flour, which is somewhat similar to the concept of ketonic diet to add more fat in diet, another aspect is that in nature whatever is readily available as a food is generally sweet in nature for eg: orange though sour is sweet i.e. sweetness is the prevailing factor out of the two hence even though we eat salty food we should eat something sweet such as Jagger or some sweet b'coz a combination of all these completes your digestion process, absence of any one thing may not cause immediate repercussion but will have it repercussion later on. One more thing that should be taken care of is that all that you add to your food is suitable to you in term of allergy, for eg: A sugar patient have to take limited sugar, Gluten intolerant can't take gluten etc.

Their is another aspect to fasting and that is we don't eat any thing which don't have their own natural juice for eg lentils i.e. Daal or take for incidence wheat or corn flour that are dry, are not consumed during fasting days, on personal front I even eat non vegetarian food but only of small animal such as fish or Chicken, you can search for paleo diet in order to understand the concept of how fasting has evolved in our culture, basically these methods are incorporated by the enlightened human, though it is not exactly similar, but at least somewhat similar, the whole idea is to eat fresh food and not food which are capable of storage for long time.

Please understand the food is the main input your body has, if fuel is not right, the body, physically as well as mentally will not work, for eg: you can't expect Jaguar Car to perform by adding Kerosene in its fuel tank medicine can only perform as a good quality oil but the fuel has to a good food. :) OM

Temple

Its in our Mind

My Dear Friends do you Know what does a Temple mean, it means a place were hindu worship, very simple, that is what we do exactly.

But do you know what is the meaning of Mandir is, it is formed from two words "Man" i.e. mind and "dir" i.e. Choukhat i.e. the door, so the meaning of word mandir is door to your mind, so the word Temple is nowhere close to meaning of Mandir.

I have never visited Khajurao temple but have heard a lot about it, it's erotic sculpture, many people laugh at them and they only talk about the erotic sculpture and they never talk about the other carvings which are present on the wall of the Mandir, which represents the other aspect of human life.

Actually i.e. the only Mandir that actually is a Mandir b'coz it reflects our mind what our mind consist of, what are the different thoughts that come across our mind. :) OM
