Shri Vishnu

Shri Vishnu
Shri Vishnu & Laxmiji

"Shri Vishnu"is the most charming character in the Indian Scripture, ever smiling, he is lying over a big snake with 1000s of head and uses the snake as bed, Goddess of wealth is constantly accompanying him & serving him at his feet, you may found it to be very unusual, but please read on.

The coil of this big snake as I have realised with the blessing of the almighty, through meditation, by a chance :), is the symbol of the governing phenomenon of this world, the principle which can crush many in its coils, the coils "representing the various vicious circles of life" , a simple man who no matter may have many good deeds will be crushed as he turn weak, the 1000 mouth of the snake denotes the thousands of person who are always ready to eat a emotionally weak person in order to feed their desires, a snake don't even spare its offspring , its mate or its care taker something similar happens in child foeticide, extramarital affairs or say old age home,  but my lord is laying on the same & always smiling.

Shri Krishna i.e. a Vishnu tells to Arjun that "By using Wisdom as your boat u can cross this life cycle which resembles the magnitude of the ocean". This is the reason why Vishnu is shown in the center of the ocean. He is said to be the saviour of the entire mankind, as his philosophies which has been mentioned in Text such as “Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta” are so potent that make a emotionally weak person competitive to combat the atrocities of the  world. The goddess Laxmi serving at his feet denotes the dominance of Vishnu in order to accumulate as well as manage the wealth without letting the wealth bothering him in terms of ego, greed & fear, no IIM graduate can match his managing skills.

Various Avtaar of Vishnu has been mentioned in ancient Indian Scripture, to name a few “Ram”, “Krishna”,  Matasya Avtaar” i.e. in the form of Fish, “Narsingh Avtaar” i.e. in the form of a species that is neither a Man nor a Lion but a mixture of two breed. The moral of these stories will be applicable to every era.

In Krishna Avatar Shri Krishna narrated Bhagwat Geeta. You must have heard a shloka from the same.

यदा यदा ही धर्मस्य ग्लानिर भवति भारत
अभ्युत्थानम् धर्मस्य तदात्मानं सृजंमह्यम  chapter 4 Verse 7 Bhagwat Gita

This verse has been translated in to meaning that "whenever there would be increase in sin in the world then at that time I (i.e. God) will manifest myself in order to destroy the evils". I use to question myself a lot in my teenages that all across the world there is terrorism, innocent people are being killed by terrorist, womens are being raped in front of their family members, how much more sin should occur for God to take birth. I never use to get an proper answer for this by my family members and friends, and later when I learned about world wars in which 6 billion people were killed, India-Pakistan partition which saw lots of innocent people being killed, I didn't use to believe the above quote of Bhagwat Gita.

Later with the help of meditation and blessing of almighty I realised that this aura takes birth inside you, when you think that you can't take enough of all this, when you feel suffocated as Arjun was feeling, as Buddha felt as Samrat Ashoka felt, as Angulimaal felt, then mother nature creates the aura inside you & this aura cleanse the garbage that has accumulated inside you, of course you require the guidance of philosophies of Gita or say philosophies of Buddha, but more than Buddha I prefer Gita as I found it very sensible that if you are not happy with your family, you can't be happy alone too.

"Bhagwat Geeta" i.e. " A Divine Rhyme" as it so beautifully said, it has a rhyme in it teachings i.e. it has flow not b’coz it is a poem but b’coz what has to be said at what point is taken care of  so beautifully in the text,  and hence the name.

Ahinsa

Ahinsa Doesn't mean to become Coward

Today when we talk about Ahinsa most people think that's its a fools paradise as the word Ahinsa has been presented in such a cowardly way, it appears that only cowards follow the path of Ahinsa. What actually is Ahinsa? Shri Krishn repeatedly ask Shri Arjun to follow the path of Ahinsa in Bhagwat Geeta, many great people have defined Ahinsa as Non Violence which again by many has been transferred in to a meaning of no war & no execution.

But in Bhagwat Geeta lord though continuously ask Arjun to follow the path of Ahinsa and be a Sadhu but at the same time he also ask him to be a Khastriya and execute all his enemies, also in his own life time Shri Krishna has executed many human with evil deeds i.e. Asur.

So the word No War or No execution can never be Ahinsa, so what it is instead, the word that can come close to the meaning of Ahinsa is actually Non Hatred. If you don't hate somebody than you can't hurt him without proper reasoning, and when you don't hate somebody you can take better decision.

Unfortunately people use it to hide their incapability and translated it to the ideal condition of no war and no execution, you have to take a balance approach, not everyone understands the language of Love.

In this world some people imagine of a world with absolute non violence, it is indeed a hypothetical situation which has never been possible in this planet and will never ever be possible in future. :) OM

Four Asharms of our Life

Four Generation

What are the four Asharams of a being in life, it has been stated in hinduism as four Ashram.

  1. BrahmaCharya Ashram
  2. Grihastha Ashram
  3. Vanprastha Ashram
  4. Sanyas Ashram
You will meet many or might be few people all across the globe who will say that he/she is master or has somewhat knowledge about these 4 stages of life as per Hinduism, they say nowadays nobody practices these stages, but I say by default most of the beings practice only this perspective. Well these people have a certain perspective about the four Ashrams but my perspective is very different compare to them, you can search for their perspective on google but I will write what I think about these 4 ashrams in a being life.

Most of the people say it has been designed for male only, but I believe India's adhyatma is for individual and not for male/female or even just Human, we have Matasya (Fish) as well as Narsingh ( Half Man Half animal) avtaar i.e. enlightened species as well.

What is Brahm it is nothing but Myth, I don't know about you but I have observed myself as a child and I also observe other children, a child remains in his/her own world, he/she will talk to himself /herself, talk to their toys, act in a room all by themselves, they lives in a complete illusion and this will continue up to age of 10 to 12 and after that we will observe them blushing, confused, too much focused changing their friends, not sure about their love, feeling that love happens only one time, eating anything that taste good but which might not be good for them, not listening to their parents considering their parents to be their enemy, all this is a clear indication that they live in a world of myth and this stage surround them till the age of around 25. This stage is called Brahmacharya Ashram.

Around the age of 25 people want to settle down, they want to have their own family, plan for their future, they want to plan for their Kids, they understand their parents what are the sacrifices made by their parent. This is called Grihastha Ashram.

Third stage is the stage of Vanprastha, around the age of 50, now many people say it to be that people should go and live in forest. Is it really possible to go to the forest and live, that too for a person who has lived first 50 years of his life in a civil society? Here comes again the point that we consider our ancestor to be idiot, my dear friend it was not meant for going to the forest, instead it must have been meant for eating fresh food, eat fresh green leafy vegetables, eat fresh meat of small animal, b'coz they are easily digestible and give some important nutrient which even the modern scientific community is not able to determine and will never ever be able to determine, b'coz the scientific knowledge of this universe is infinite, we have only reached Mars and we don't know how many galaxies are there.

After the age of around 75 comes the stage of Sanyas Ashram, people say that at this stage person should only worship god, but here again things fall in to place by itself, people are themselves not interested in the worldly pleasure as people have become too old and more often then not a person is concerned about his own health, even after eating fresh food many of our health deteriorates at such a old age and we stop eating food, start living in our own world, it happens by it self.

So in every corner of the world this practices are being followed, it is not any Hindu thing but a common factor in the life of an individual. :) Om

Science Of Cooking

Ghee use to be important aspect of Indian diet

You must have heard a lot about of art of cooking, must have seen various chef teaching various recipes, preparing some yummy good looking delight but we hardly talk about science of cooking.

As per Bhagwat geeta Def of Good food in chapter 17 is:

"Food that increases a person's age, intellect, strength, immunity, and brings cheerfulness and provide a stable heart which ultimately provides a stable mind should have following characteristics: it should be juicy i.e it should have five taste i.e. Sweet, Salty , bitter, pungent i.e. chili, Sour i.e. something like imli, it should be lubricious i.e. it should have animal fat like ghee, it should reside in the body for some time (i.e. fibrous ), and it should be acceptable to the body (i.e. it should not cause nausea, bloating, depression, maniac or make you feel shaky etc) & this type of food are preferred by person who are Satvik (i.e. a True Gentleman).”

It doesn't say that you should be eating vegetarian or nonvegetarian food, infact it just says that food should make you feel better both mentally as well as physically.

Unfortunately in todays modern world we have forgotten the basics, I will give you simple eg: Suppose I ask you why we add oil while cooking food, I bet most of the people never even think about this , I asked this similar question to few qualified engineers, unfortunately they were not aware and they have never thought about it, even the ladies are not aware about it, and they actually think that oil is just for taste :).

Similarly Ghee ( clarified butter) used to be very important part of Indian diet but now citing various health reason it has very limited application in Indian food, today people started to avoid it b'coz of health studies published in various science journal regarding the negative effect of use of Ghee, but Ghee was a very important source of animal fat in Indian diet, though westerners eat primarily non veg food Indian has a typical vegan meal, animal fat is one of the requirement of our digestion system just as our digestion system requires water, salt and sweetness.

It was also a custom in Indian delicacy to serve a sweet after the meal, as in china they use to serve sweet green tea, this was b'coz sweetness help in digestion as fat help in digestion in fact we require a combination of taste, fat and fiber to aid our digestion or say for smooth functioning of our body as well as our digestive system, everything that is available in nature which is eatable in bulk quantity is sweet in nature, has it own fat as well as fiber, the meat of animal has it own taste it is sweet in nature, has it own fat and fiber. You will not find any food which is sour, chili or bitter or very salty available in nature on its own,  and we can't fill our stomach on green chilies or bitter gourd, f we do than we certainly will become ill pretty soon.

A famous cook wrote on her website that she has prepared some oil free recipe and have tested it on herself and is completely safe for consumption. My Dear friend the famous cook might have really tested the food on herself but it must have been only once in a while that's why she couldn't feel the ill effect of such a diet, a person require oil in his/her diet. Cooking oil or Ghee does not only provides you some of the essential nutrients, but it also is responsible for the combustion of your food in your stomach, i.e. it is responsible for other nutrients to be absorbed by your body, it is also important for your gut movement as they provide the necessary lubrication but nothing in excess is good for anyone, here again the key is "Yog" i.e. right balanced approach. When you will eat right you will feel good not only physically but as well as mentally.

This lack of scientific knowledge regarding food preparation shows the flaw in our education system which not even teaches us even about the most important perspective of our live i.e. about the Science of Cooking. Om :)

Why lentils are soaked in water before cooking

It was a general practice in Indian household to soak the lentils for at least 10 to 12 hrs prior to cooking as it use to soften the the pulp of the lentils and hence it used to take less time for cooking, so saving the time as well as fuel, but now as we have pressure cooker we can make the daals pretty quick now we don't soak the lentils at all.

You must have heard a lot of talk about the health benefits of sprouted lentils and so called scientist whom I will refer from here on as stupid will give you a very scientific explanation of the same and they will say it contain amino acid, B 6, B12 and bla bla bla, lets make it simple, it has life now, it can grow on to become a crop, the dry lentils when given water and atmosphere of earth generates life in it, it is something similar to the life in a bowl of yogurt prepared from milk and when it has life it can give life i.e. it can be easily absorbed by your body and this is the point you should cook it, you don't have to wait for 2 to 3 days so that the the sprout becomes longer but yes soaking it in water for 10 to 12 hrs and than keeping it in atmospheric air for few hrs to the point that few of them generates a little sprout, this is the point that we know that the seeds of life has been sown in to the lentils, cook it at this time you will gain much more than amino acids, B6, and B12 b'coz the stupid think that what they know is complete science, they will give you the composition analysis that so and so vegetables has this this much of protein and etc but the fact is that the knowledge of universe is infinite, we have just reached the mars but the universe consist of infinite number of such galaxies. :) Om

Lets talk Brain

My Dear Friends lets talk about Brain, most of the people we meet across India or say world will adjudge a person brain by the amount of marks he/she score in Academic exam, taking it as a guideline for intelligence person, person studying in IIT or Harvard and the doctors are judged as to be the best brains of India or the world.

One fine day I was dining with my Boss and he told me that I should try to become like Abraham Lincoln he told me that Lincoln use to travel 300 Km by cycle, this much capability you should have in you, I ask my boss: Sir can you write a poem, he became silent I told him that you can take the entire night or if you wish you can take few days but can you write a original poem by yourself, he was still silent, before he could answer I told him no you couldn't, b'coz you don't have the trait of a poet, so why you want me to be like Abraham Lincoln what I can do may be Abraham Lincoln can't do, he kept quiet for the entire dinner :) .

The point I want to raise here is the good marks in exam are not b'coz a person is intelligent rather the good marks show that the person has good memory but in order to be a good doctor or an Engineer, you should have the curiosity, you should have the passion, you should have the sympathy and of all the good things memory should be the last.

Today if you even want to become a good fighter pilot than also you will have to pass a written exam, simply ask yourself a question if there would have been an Competitive Exam for Cricket, badminton ,car racing, poetry, fiction have we got a Sachin or Sehwag, a Sania, a Michael Schumacher Javed Akhtar or a shakespear respectively. :) Om.

Peace Of Mind

I was talking to few passenger on a Journey in a train, one of the passenger said to me that if you visit so & so shrine you get a lot of peace within yourself when you close your eyes, I told him that he can realise the same peace within himself if he close his eyes for the same amount of time in his home. At home we don't have time to close our eyes, either we are watching TV or spending time on internet or on mobile, or gossiping, even if we close our eyes we think about some crap in our mind, the only time we close our eyes for peace is while we are sleeping.

In Bhagwat geeta Shri Krishn doesn't mention to Shri Arjun to go to so & so shrine in order to attain peace, Shri Krishn just tells him to practice Pranayam i.e. Dhyan in a quite place, as well as practice the "art of balance approach" i.e. Yog, which comprises of right eating to right thinking, the right eating doesn't only reflect on your body but it also reflect on your thought process.

Shri Krishna repeatedly tells Shri Arjun that there is no other thing in planet which can provide you peace of mind as well as wash you of all your sin as compare to true knowledge comprising of science and wisdom, this knowledge is actually the synonym of river Ganges which is shown to be flowing from the head of Shri Shiva (An enlightened Human).

How Yog / Pranayam/ Food helps to conquer depression

In today's world of modern science we consider a person who feel depressed to be suffering from mental illness. What are the symptoms of a person who is feeling anxiety and depression? He/She feels suffocation, dry mouth, feels shaky, their body shivers, feels that his/her heart is shrinking, they cry, well these are exactly the symptoms which Shri Arjun mentions in "Bhagwat Geeta" in front of Shri Krishna, but unfortunately most of us don't learn from history.

Shri Krishna makes him understand his responsibilities and also make him understand that how he should develop his thought process so that he doesn't feel the pressure of  various relation or say various emotions by means of Yog. Along with all these things Shri Krishna also tells Shri Arjun to do Pranayam ( Meditation) and to have the right food, he assured Shri Arjun that if he follow these ritual which are actually very easy to follow and not as tough as the institutions of religions  make them to be, than he can conquer his depression and live a joyous life again.

Modern medical science has a word for describing depression that is called Chemical Imbalance and  in Ayurveda there is a word called "Vayu" which means air or say some kind of gas, now please don't go to any ayurvedic doctors because 99.9% of them are thugs similar to doctor of Modern Medical Science and the figure I am giving you is mathematically derived so no need to check on it  :)  .

The chemical imbalance which the doctors speak of is nothing but actually the air or gas, it may be little hard for you to imagine, but let it understand it in this way that our organs works with the help of the nutrient absorbed from food in our gut, so whatever the nutrients are secreted in our guts are transferred to our organ, similaly our brain needs continuous supply of many things in order to work, now suppose (just an eg) the pipe which was supplying your brain with water gets some air or gas trapped in it, then there will be fluctuation in the supply of water to your brain and hence it will affect the activity of your brain too.

Initially when I suffered from depression I was not having too much issues with digestion, I mean I use to have fart and it use to smell really bad, but I use to think I can't do much about it, but I had lot of issues with my emotions ( my initial symptoms ), medicine were able to reduce the intensity of depression and increase the time interval between the two episodes, but later on even after taking medication for depression I was unable to digest the food, there were issues related to bloating, acidity, cramps in stomach, legs, pain in eyes, hairfall,  medicine were increasing so were the different health issues. Now understand this when I stopped eating gluten i.e. I cut wheat, the other grain which I now prepare is pearl millet by Sourdough Method, also I apply a little bit of cultured ghee over 3 to 4 chapatis, now chapatis made of sourdough breaks easily in my stomach as they have already been broken by the micro organism, so the sourdough grain doesn't causes gases or bloating as it use to happen, secondly I have cut milk, coffee or tea with milk but I take curd, if you will observe milk when you heat it, it inflates as a ballon, it doesn't boil as water but it rises as a surface, but surface of curd is broken by the micro organism hence again curd is digested with ease in my guts without producing any gases.

Pulses or lintels which I eat are also a little sprouted, so again here also my little friends "the micro organism" reduces load on my stomach, secondly I switch to fresh vegetable diet every alternate day as well as I replace the grain flour after every 6th day with buckwheat flour or amaranth or water chestnut flour, so again I am cutting any extra load on my stomach, I add very less oil say about 1 teaspoon for two people in lentils, too little oil will give you hard time in your bowel movement while too much of oil will lead to less residence time of food in your stomach  :) , along with the vegetable oil in lentils, I am also applying little bit of ghee over chapati as ghee i.e. animal fat is requirement for our body.

Now comes the point of Pranayam, how it helps, frankly speaking I don't know the exact answer, but I will share my idea on it, some people will tell you about chakras and all this, but it is all nonsense, just relax no need to panic, it is helpful and that is for sure. Pranayam doesn't mean deep breathing, or inhaling more oxygen, your body knows how much oxygen it require, you don't have to think about it, but during pranayam our back should be straight and we should not be doing any other activity that includes putting tension on your any body part.  Now if you observe that it is during this position of your body when the neck is not bend or your back is not bend, some thoughts will strike your mind making you to loose your attention and not concentration, you don't need to concentrate but you should be alert you will divert your attention back on to your breath so you will be channelising your breath in a better way or say that you will be channelising the air which is wide spread in your body in a better way and hence will result in your better overall health. :) Om

I am not a Psychiatrist.

How to master Meditation

Pranayam is only one aspect out of the few others, in order to attain blissfulness

Pranayam is made from two words first is Pran, now what is Pran? You can search for it on web and there are plenty of meaning for the same, but though they differ in meaning they don't differ by much, some say it is source of life and some says it is the respiration and some say it is just the breath that we inhale, this difference is due to the fact that sanskrit though was a popular language at one time, but it is also a sort of lost language today and also when we translate from one language to other language we sort of loose its actual meaning b'coz different people interpret the same thing in different ways.

Pranayam is one of the important step in the art of seeking blissfulness, some people try to complicate it by putting everything on pranayam, by saying by means of pranayam you can achieve moksha or achieve perfectly healthy body or will be free of all your miseries, but shri Krishna tells in Geeta that only by means of bhakti i.e. devotion you can get moksha, now what is bhakti, just repeating few sanskrit word is not bhakti, just enchanting names of god is not bhakti. Shri Krishna says that my best bhakt i.e. a devotee, is a person who understand me i.e. a "Gyani", and its eventually a seeker i.e. a "Gigyasu" i.e. who has the curiosity to know me ultimately becomes a "Gyani".

Now how to master the art of Pranayam. It is not a big deal but along with pranayam you will also have to practice yog i.e. balance eating, that means food that suit your stomach, your health as well as your mind, and balance thinking, excluding anything will make you miss all the buses, as most of the people know Pranayam means sitting straight, you can also sit on a chair if you feel uneasy or uncomfortable sitting on the ground but care should be taken that your legs don't hang in air rather they must be resting on the ground, also the surface of the chair on which you are sitting should be flat and not too fluffy, and if it is not cushioned, place a cloth on the chair and sit over it, now close your eyes but it should be little bit open, just don't move any of your parts other then the lungs which will move in order to respirate :), you will have to be alert while meditating.

Now some processes will be simultaneous, you will have to observe that non of your body part move or is under tension,  you shouldn't get lost in your own world of thought & even if you get lost in your own world the moment you remember that you are lost, you have to focus back on your eyes that they are open and not closed and your body i.e. your legs and hands are not tense or moving, your senses are in your control, this act will be repeated again and again the process of repeating the same act again again is nothing but remembering god, also when you will master this art you will start to focus on your breath by itself, b'coz even when you are not doing anything you are breathing, you will feel calm.

This act you should perform regularly and you shouldn't attempt to sit for a hour or two, just give few minutes. Why this act has to performed regularly is because first few days when you will be doing this you will put extra effort but slowly things will change you will become casual, now each day will be different, some day you must have had a fight with your boss, or on some day you saw a sexy person of opposite sex, some day you will be annoyed with your colleague, so each day when you will meditate these thought will struck your mind and you might get lost in them and it will result in anger in you or maybe lust and at that point you have to relax your senses which ultimately will let to relaxation of your mind.

You don't have to concentrate on your hand posture and all those stuff, only thing is that there should be less noise, you don't require to go to himalayas or under some banyan tree in a jungle, do it with ease in your own bedroom or drawing room wherever you feel comfortable. I hope I am able to explain it you, if anybody has any doubt they can ask me, here itself . :) Om

Why we should not Cook Food in too much Oil

Though cooking has it disadvantages, the cooking of our food has given us various advantages over others in terms of cooking the food as per our body need, for eg: suppose you are diabetic so you can cut the sugar, cooking was a great science in India but unfortunately  today we have forgotten our origins as well as science of cooking. Out of all the animals human are the only animal which processed the grain in order to makes it a food, all other animal either feed on raw juicy grain or they eat raw meat and b'coz of this different style of cooking since million of years, we will see extreme fat , thin, bald, short and tall human and rashes on skin in human  while animals look similar in terms of physique as well as looks :) .

There was a time in India when all the sweets were used to be manufactured using desi ghee but now a days we hardly see ghee being used in making sweets mainly b'coz of high cost of ghee as well as availability of no odor oil like soyabean oil which is actually not a original oil of India and also a mass belief in people regarding the bad effect of ghee thanks to the so called science Journal.

Now I will like to shed some light on the topic and I will like to start from the scratch, first let me ask you a question are we herbivores or carnivores or omnivores,  let say we are herbivores so what is the herb available in nature that is salty in nature by itself, or why we add salt in our diet, what will happen if all of a sudden we landed in a jungle, in order to understand this don't eat salt for say 9 to 10 days, your body will start craving for salt, so if you are in jungle there is no other thing in nature other than blood i.e. salty in nature now we are not blood sucking animal like bat or leaches that thrive on blood but rather the traces of blood on fresh hunt is enough for us.

So I may have cleared your doubt on the fact that we are not herbivorous but it is true that we are omnivores now do one thing make sprouted grain in your home and eat it every day, try different version of sprouted grain and eat them as they are similar to living juicy grain, you may try this but I will tell you that you will find it hard to have your gut movement after few days, b'coz even after eating so much herbs you don't have sufficient oil in your guts, now if you want to experiment outdoor how much mustard you will have to eat to generate two table spoonful of mustard oil in your gut, just imagine. So what exactly I wanted to do here is generate a thought in your mind that though we are omnivores we don't require so much of  vegetable oil in our diet as it is not natural but yeah 1 teaspoonful twice a day will be good enough, as we are eating so much of herb like rice or wheat but that will not solve your gut movement issues, so if you are only on vegetable oil you will have to take more oil, which is again not natural for your digestive system hence will cause trouble in the long run, secondly among various literature available, oil which has been generated by cold press method is said to be best and they believed that higher temperature extraction of oil degrades the quality of oil, hence how it is possible to use the same oil for high temperature cooking, also the method of providing daal tadka  in India involves heating the oil just little bit so that it just liberates out the smell of the oil, but now we have incompletely forgotten the science.

Now comes the point of animal fat, we can generate animal fat from the milk of the animal such as Cow, Buffalo or Goat which is called Ghee or say clarified butter, now as we are omnivore i.e. a animal which survives both on herbs as well as meat, we will eat meat too, meat has its own fiber + fat + sugar of flesh+ salt of blood, so it is complete food on its own and it has the right amount of fat which is good for your gut, we require animal fat, to absorb the salt and the other nutrients of the fiber in to our system in a better way along with the nutrients of animal fat itself, similar to as we require oil to absorb the benefits of herbs in our system as well as the nutrients of oil itself, so do we require to feed on animal meat always? no, here comes again the advantage of cooking, as our body changes with time, the changes are not external only, our body changes internally as well, so we can change the amount of nutrients to be fed to our body by means of changing fiber choosing softer fiber such as buckwheat on weekends or some weekdays, salt by means of using rock salt or sea salt as well as applying less or more Ghee over our food, or choosing ghee of a different animal in alternate days.

I hope I am able to convey my points :) Om.

How Human are different from animal

They are Just amazing and so are we :)

The topic might sound strange to you, but most of us take animals for granted, we think they are idiots and they think that we are idiots :) as we are the only species which milk them and drink their milk and also eat dead and dried food, but seriously have you ever observed how well your dog understand everything that you tell to it, it even understand how to behave with each individual of your family, whom to listen and whom to ignore, or have you observed how birds make the nest or the ants work in tandem to pick a body of dead insect or sugar or how the birds navigate in the sky thousands of Km or how the dolphins act, the list just goes on and on, they do something really marvelous but they don't have the skill to document it, I mean monkeys have hand and it can do many stuff better than the best gymnast human has ever produce but it can't write and similarly it can't communicate with help of words they do can generate certain voices but they are limited they don't have vocals as human.

This ability to write and to communicate is what make us superior to the other animal as we can communicate the details better than any other animal, b'coz of this communication we can plan better, we can read what Newton has said even after 300 years and can utilise the same for our betterment, we can read what Buddha has said  after 2500 years and what Shri Krishna has said even after billion of years and can use the same for our enlightenment.

This is the reason in Indian text there is mention of Matasya Avatar i.e. Fish  and Narsingh Avatar half Man half Lion which indicate that even the other species can achieve the state of enlightenment.

Why Onion is not eaten during fast or Upwas

There is so much of misinformation regarding fasting that I always use to scare away from fasting, my mother and other elderly members of my family use to tell me that fasting means you should only eat fruits and no salt and some of the members use to do so, some even told me that we should eat only once in a day during fasting, they also told me that satvik food is totally tasteless food, but it was not their fault they were also told by someone about the same in a similar manner, I googled it and I found so many answers, but non satisfied my mind, b'coz "Geeta"  talks about moderation in everything right from food to thought process. It doesn't want to act you as a fool, but what I found out in google it was sort of suggesting that only fool practice fasting, b'coz they have made it so laborious, so many ifs and buts, food is not for taste and you should not enjoy the pleasure of your senses such a rubbish. In "Geeta" Shri Krishn continuously ask Shri Arjun to enjoy the Kingdom, to enjoy the wealth and he tells Arjun that food should be pleasing to your body in every aspect and Shri Krishn himself lead his life in so much leisure and he even told the secret of that in "Geeta" so how can he ask his "Fan" to live their life in so much of misery.

Now coming to the topic if you look at our food our food basically comprises of many spices and if I just concentrate on onion and garlic they have a very potent use in ancient medical science of India, both garlic and onion are used as medicine now we shouldn't consume medicine regularly or understand it this way too much of anything is bad for you, another way I look at it is that of all the vegetables we purchase, only onion and garlic are kept outside the refrigerator, they don't spoil quickly, they remain intact for 2 to 6 months respectively, or rather say the micro organism which are always present in the air and are capable of even rotting your body when you are dead are not able to rot these two vegetable easily.

For this reason or say somewhat similar reason turmeric is also not used during fasting, they are helpful no doubt about it, but they don't add much to the taste and are used in very minute quantity, we add only a few staples of garlic or pinch of turmeric for cooking of four people, but they have significant medicinal effect on our gut and prevent the growth of excess of micro organism in our gut, the west is still doing research on whether to use turmeric in food or not and they are still working hard to know the good effect of garlic b'coz they as well as we think that our ancestor were idiot and we are cool.

Earlier in my blog I have covered a similar topic discussing Significance of Fasting, in that topic I have discussed that why we should be eating fresh vegetables, as well as chapatis made up of Fruit flour such as water chestnut during upwas (Fast) go through it as well for better use of fasting for your as well as your family members good health.

Arvind Kejriwal Repeats History

Yes Arvind Kejriwaal has done what has been done a many times, a common man challenging the mighty King, don't you remember how Shri Ram executed the Ravan, Shri Ram tries several ways in order to make Ravan understand that war is not solution, he offered peaceful solution and ask him to handover Sita but Ravan ridiculed him, similarly Arvind tried to make these political party understand to handover the corrupt practices but they laughed at him.

Ravan insisted that a common man with few monkeys can't challenge the might of his army, just as the national parties of India were saying that Arvind with few of his followers can't challenge us. They said, "now since Arvind Kejriwal has made his party he will realise the cost of Wheat and lentils, now Arvind will realise gathering money for party funding is not easy", but he proved them wrong he gathered exactly the same amount of money which they can spend legally on their candidates by means of his good deeds.

They ridiculed him saying that few man with no criminal background can't stand the might of their goons, this same incident was also repeated in Mahabharatha where Duryodhan refuses to give any land to Pandavas stating that his army is mightier than Pandavs, similar to the Indian politician. Duryodhan tried everything to belittle the Pandavas, he tries to undress their wife, similar to the various paid news published in the leading TV channels and by leading publishing houses to defame the Aam Aadmi Party, but even after all this Arvind succeeded.

I admire Arvind kejriwal b'coz of his strategies, his capability to withdraw his own decisions and rethink about it, for eg: he asked for "jail भरो आंदोलन " but he was quick to roll back it, similarly he told about not to take any support from congress or BJP but he changed his decision with time and with a style  " सांप भी मर जाये और लाठी भी ना  टूटे ". In Bhagwat Geeta Shri Krishn tells shri Arjun that " विजेता कि  नीति मैं हूँ " i.e. if you want to be victoriuos than you will have to plan for it and Arvind kejriwaal is a perfect example for it, for me he is the Kalki, the avtaar of Vishnu.

Even though Arvind Kejriwal has won the first battle, he has just executed the Meghnath but there is a long way to go "जख्मी शेर और भी खतरनाक होता है "Ravan is still alive and roaring, it is just Delhi now, it has to spread all across India and set an example of Ram Rajya as done by Shri Ram. Om :)

Science of Sourdough and not eating too hot or too cold

I always use to ask myself a question that why we fed the statues of Deity with food, b'coz I didn't use to see even  a drop of reduction in the volume of food offered to god. I googled it and I found out answer that was not accepted by my mind, I tried to forget it but don't know why in my subconscious I was thinking for it.

Thanks to lot of mediums today available to us like TV, internet, thanks to my upbringing in India and thanks to Shri Ved Vyas and Shri Krishn the author and narrator respectively of Shri Bhagwat Geeta , I concluded that everything which animals other than human eat in natural state has life in it, whether you talk about the herbivores or you talk about the carnivore, but man eat dead (or say dry) grain and lentils (daal) and legumes(seed eg Rajma) i.e. a grain that has been rooted up and dried and stored for long period of time. They don't spoil quickly.

Chapatis or say bread are made from generally wheat, millet, sorghum  flour etc each of them have a bran over it, this bran is some what similar to husk of a fruit like mango now do you eat mango or do you eat mango husk, ofcourse , the answer is yes I eat Mango pulp and not the husk.

Now just sit back and think for a while, which state of India was one of the most prosperous state of India, which state has provide us maximum revolutionaries? A state whose men and women are tall and healthy? It was Punjab my friend, what was the diet they had? Tandoori roti, Nan, Bhature all these were made out of maida and today we are being taught that maida is bad for health. Maida indeed in bad for health only if it has been made with the help of some chemicals, which generally the companies are adding to fasten up the process of bleaching. Our ancestors use to ferment the dough its called Khamir in Hindi and fermentation in English, this process will naturally break the husk of the grain and put your digestive track on ease.

Now please don't be arrogant and think " Whatever" or "कुछ नहीं होता यार " b'coz as long as our digestive system is intact we are healthy but our body is aging and it can backfire at anytime b'coz of the wrong food habits.

Science behind feeding Bhog to Deity

I always use to ask myself a question that why we fed the statues of Deity with food, b'coz I didn't use to see even  a drop of reduction in the volume of food offered to god. I googled it and I found out answer that was not accepted by my mind, I tried to forget it but don't know why in my subconcious I was thinking for it.

Thanks to lot of mediums today available to us like TV, internet, thanks to my upbringing in India and thanks to Shri Ved Vyas and Shri Krishn the author and narrator respectively of Shri Bhagwat Geeta , I concluded that everything which animals other than human eat in natural state has life in it, whether you talk about the herbivores or you talk about the carnivore, but man eat dead grain and lints (daal) and legumes(seed eg Rajma) and we cook it at high temperature, so even if our food has some microrganism it dies at a high temperature of pressure cooker or if we don't heat under pressure cooker than the prolonged heating of the food under significant temperature kills the micro organism, but if we eat by the principal of cook and serve than we are eating very hot food which is totally dead food i.e. no micro organism at all, now have you heard about the curd and good effect of it, what it is? A bunch of billions of bacteria, yes micro organism that's what I am talking about, good bacteria or say the enzymes which scientist are not able to produce in their labs.

Now what is good bacteria, yakult say it probiotic drink has 6.5 billion good bacteria in it, but hold on I am not asking you to keep your food that long, as long as we keep milk so that it becomes curd, but as said in "Bhagwat Geeta" that " Food should neither be too hot or too cold", b'coz in either case the microorganism will not grow,  the moment you cook your lints, let it cool down and be just warm and let your chapatis be also little cold, b'coz micro organism are always present in the air, the moment your chapatis will cold enough for them to settle and multiply they will grow and in this way you will be eating a live food and all this doesn't take much time the process is very quick as the heat and water has already made the cook stuff easy to metabolise, now please don't go by the Jainism philosophy i.e. if it will have microbes I can't hurt them. B'coz it is the law of the nature and acknowledging the law of nature is being practical in life

Now again talking about chapatis, chapatis are made from generally wheat, millet, sorghum  flour etc each of them have a bran over it, this bran is some what similar to husk of a fruit suppose take for eg: mango now do you eat mango or do you eat mango husk, don't be irritated :) , the answer is yes I eat Mango pulp and not the husk, now to do something similar in the case of wheat it is not possible to remove husk of all the grains of wheat, so what should we do, the answer is simple, our ancestors use to do it but we have forgotten to do the same b'coz we have learned the art of cooking but forgotten the science of cooking, did u get it, no ok I will tell you its called Khamir in Hindi and fermentation in English, or say we should prepare the sourdough of the wheat or whatever the flour is if it is of a grain, this process will naturally break the husk of the grain and put your digestive track on ease.

Now please dn't be arrogant and think " Whatever" or "कुछ नहीं होता यार " b'coz as long as our digestive system is intact we are healthy but our body is aging and it can backfire at anytime b'coz of the wrong food habits. :) Om

Why onion is not eaten during fasting

Where to find a enlightened person

Similar quote is available in Bhagwat Geeta also

You can find a plenty of Guru in the market right from the local astrologer near by your house or  national Guru like Asharam or international Guru like Ramdev and Sri Sri RaviShankar, but where can you find a enlightened person, a person whom Sri Krishna said he is my mirror image and he is available in all Yug i.e. all ages where can you find a Guru like that. Please don't think of trying to go to Himalayas to search him, he will be among us only. Shri Krishna tells Shri Arjun that

"Out of 1000 people only 1 tries to know me and out of those 1000 who tries to know me only 1 knows me".

That means only 1 in a million realise God, similar to the quote of buddhist monk in the above picture, so the answer is very simple, it is written in Geeta itself that it is very rare that you can find a person like that, the one who really knows about the God actually never comes in front because he knows that people are ignorant and they will not listen to him, for eg: Shri Ved Vyas the author of Bhagwat Geeta and Mahabharatha didn't boasted about his enlightenment but he very cleverly hinted the same in Bhagwat geeta when Shri Krishna tell to Shri Arjun that "Among saint I am Ved Vyas" and also Shri Krishna doesn't tell Shri Arjuna who was his closest friend about the Knowledge of Geeta during his early days, it is only when Shri Arjuna begs for wisdom in front of Shri Krishna that he grant him the knowledge.

Further Shri Krishn tells Shri Arjun that " It is very rare to find someone who sees his self (i.e the English for Atma) as a wonder, someone who describe it as a wonder and someone who hear it as wonder and Some even after hearing it are unable to understand the same".

Our expectation of a enlightened person is actually totally wrong, we expect him to be a miraculous who will defy all the laws of the nature, who can fly, who can bring a dead man alive, who is not attracted toward the opposite sex, we want him to be like Jesus who was crucified on a cross or we want him to be Krishna who lifted the mountain on his small finger, we don't expect a Enlightened Man to show us the mirror that we are hitting axe on our own leg, the water has lost it sweetness, fish are contaminated with mercury and the list goes on and on, we don't want  to see the God in Arvind Kejriwaal who almost did a miracle by removing the Delhi government, similar to what Shri Ram did by challenging the might of Ravan with the help of few Monkeys. Om :)

Significance Of OM

Om
OM is for Everyone

OM has a mystery attached to it, I never use to understand that why God will be so attached to a word. I use to wonder why in yoga classes they tell us to recite OM & they use to give very interesting argument in favour of it by saying that the vibration it generates is very helpful. Similar argument they use to give it for other matras that were in Sanskrit, but I was never satisfied with these answers as I use to argue that after all they are just words, and what will be the effect of it if I don't know its meaning for eg: if I say that " I am a Dog" in sanskrit how the hell will it create positive vibrations in me.

Later on with time I realised that OM is the sound produced in the process of completion of a complete cycle of breath, if you observe closely, the moment you inhale your breath sound "O" is produced and when you exhale sound "M" is produced it is the only word in this world which can be produced inside your mind without disturbing the entire process of breathing, it will become more clear when your breath will become "Pran" i.e. the air that you are inhaling while reading this para, i.e. when you will be able to concentrate on your breath without putting any effort in pulling your breath and your exhale will become "Aapan" i.e. the air that you are exhaling at the moment without pushing you breath.

OM is of great help while mastering the process of "Pranayam" i.e. mastering your concentration over your “Pran” & “Apan”, try out "RAM" or any other word in your mind while mastering the act of  “Pranayam”, the flow of breath will be missing.

The very act of finding such a word shows that how advanced our ancestors were, the word Meditation doesn't justify the meaning of Prananyam, it is not even close to it in terms of it origin & dictionary meaning, Pranayam is a creation of very advance thinking, what we are doing today is just maintaining the legacy of our ancestor in a pretty distorted form.

Remembering God Constantly

Shri Krishna attacking Bhishma

In Geeta lord tells Arjun that my true devotee all the time remembers me, unfortunately many of the religious group in India and other places have translated it to the meaning that my true bhakt i.e. a devotee is the one who constantly chant hare Rama hare Krishna or some other mantra, but this is not what Shri Krishna actually meant, what Shri Krishna meant was something similar to as what happens in "Lage Raho Munnabhai" ( A Bollywood Movie) where Munna Bhai always sort of think that what Mahatma Gandhiji would have done in a similar scenario.

Similar to munnabhai a true devotee of Lord krishna all the time  think of what Shri Krishna would have done in a similar circumstances, right from his eating habits i.e. eating as per science of cooking (i.e.  food as explained in Geeta, unfortunately many so called sages make it feel that satvik food as per the teachings of geeta is eating tasteless food but believe me satvik food is full of taste and aroma), to what to wear i.e. to wear as per the occasion, as you can observe Shri Krishna himself  use to look so fancy with a peacock feather on his crown, he used to dress like a King as he became a King.

Even while working a true devotee remember GOD, he don’t chant his name but instead he remembers his teachings, as Shri Krishna says that sorrow and happiness are like various seasons which comes and go, and hence we should learn to tolerate them, lord adds that you should have a balance approach in handling your responsibilities, you should be even minded in your win or loss, he further says that too much love or hate, too much of desires and anger are the worst enemy of human being and we should always try to win over these, and it could only be done by right eatingand right thought process.

Shri Krishna further adds that if we think excessively about a object, than we get attached to it and when we don’t get the object or we get obstruction in the path of getting the object, we delude our mind and become angry, we loose our sanity, which may further lead to serious losses.

All of these beautiful teachings are a platform for remembering Shri Krishna. Shri Krishna says that result of an action is not in our hand, all we can do is give our 100 % rest all will happen as per the law of nature, for eg: might be the person in front of you is better in certain aspect, than he may win if you don’t use a good strategy, as Shri Krishna beautifully quotes that if you want to win than you should have a proper strategy.

Shri Krishna further says that my devotee is active, clever, when I started to eat gfcf diet I found that still I was feeling lazy and sleepy and I feel slow mentally and sluggish, I use to question myself that shri Krishna has said that my devotee will be active & clever than why I am not feeling so, instead I use to feel that I am dumb, I use to feel that might be my case is different and I have a genetic disorder, and I will be like this only throughout my life, doctors use to make my believe more strong by giving a technical reason for it, I started to have more and more side effect of medicine which forced me again to reach out to facebook for more help, and there I found that fermented food that is sourdough and sprouted grain are answer for the same, I realized that basically we are eating dead food which don’t have any life in it, they are dry, don’t have vegetable fat or animal fat, take for example wheat and other flour and lintels they are just dry powder, they are kept in the storage for long time and they don’t get spoil, we have to covert them in to food, and that is what we are not doing right.

Om Tat Sat

Today if you want to become a good fighter pilot than also you will have to pass a written exam, simply ask yourself a question if there would have been an Competitive Exam for Cricket, badminton ,car racing, poetry, fiction have we got a Sachin or Sehwag, a Sania, a Michael Schumacher Javed Akhtar or a shakespear respectively. :) OM

Corporate Guru and Corporate Doctors

When I was a child my parents told me a mantra that was

Gurur Brahmaa Gurur Vishnu
Gurur Devo Maheshwarah
Guru Saakshaata Parabrahma
Tasmai Shri Guruve Namah

the meaning of this shlok is that the position of a guru in a individual's life is more than that of the three lords i.e. Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh( Shiva), unfortunately I took it too seriously and I never use to say a bad word against teacher up to say first 12 years of my life, b'coz later I realised that many of these school teachers were no less than devils.

Similarly I use to believe one more thing b'coz of what I heard from my family and my friends that doctors are incarnation of GOD as they can give life. I believed it till a very long time, but frankly speaking I am almost 32 now but I have not met a single good doctors in my life, though I have met some good teachers.

Reason for this is that the medical Industry is the most corrupt industry today b'coz they are betraying you in every stages of your life, right from the birth of the newborn to providing you calories and nutritional information of the foods, to selling various health supplement and making the masses scared about something which is not known, they have made us believes that we can't live without medicine. Suicide rate in USA is highest among patient above 80s among all age group: This shows that medicine doesn't improve quality of your life, and this is not a concern in USA or India, but its a worldwide phenomenon, we are living in a era today that we have very high rate of literate people who are double MBBS but highly uneducated.

They have a medicine for everything for increasing your stamina to increase your sexual stamina, if a women gets pregnant they will immediately provide her various supplement such as Iron, B Complex etc etc as if pregnancy is something very unnatural, comeon man pregnancy is a natural thing, India & China were among the most populous country in the world since the time we have data regarding population, today in urban India almost every second baby or say 75 % of the time I heard of a baby birth its cesarean, what the hell is going wrong are women losing their ability to reproduce. Down syndrome a medical condition is not found in animal living in natural habitat, but unfortunately animal living with human do suffer from it.

Tiger with downsyndrome

Iodised salt to hydrogenated oil, to refined sugar are all being forced upon us, we have to die eventually we know, then why are you  "the bloody corporates" are pushing us to feed ourself and our loved ones with these unnatural stuff.

Just sit back and think for a while, which state of India was one of the most prosperous state of India, which state has provide us maximum revolutionaries? It was Punjab my friend, what was the diet they had? Tandoori roti, Nan, Bhature all these were made out of maida and today we are being taught that maida is bad for health.

Tandoori roti being prepared in Tandoor
Bhagat Singh: Birth Place Punjab

Infact go to google and search for gluten free testimonials, gluten intolerance is from the wheat that we are eating, bran of wheat is not a food, but we are made to eat it as the bran increases the shell life has higher shell life, it has many bad effect on our health, these things are known since 1960's but the corporates had made them almost hidden so that they are never short of medical customer. A quick reminder, Who is the only self made billionaire in India at present ? Chairman of Sun Pharma Dilip Sanghvi :) A owner of a Drug company. Search for bad effect of iodised salt, search for bad effect of refined sugar the list just goes on & on.

Something very fishy is going on, we are brainwashed with the help of this idiot box called TV by the corporates, wake up and learn what is adhyatm, self introspection is called adhyatm realise your self, realise that we are part of this nature, realise that food is the main input that our body requires and not some bloody supplement.

Gurur Brahmaa Gurur Vishnu
Gurur Devo Maheshwarah
Guru Saakshaata Parabrahma
Tasmai Shri Guruve Namah

These line are indeed very true but true only for a Guru or a Teacher who can make us learn the path self introspection, these type of Guru will never charge you fees like Sri Sri Ravi Shankar or Baba Ramdev but will themselves feel honour in getting a student like you. OM
